Racks holding recorded stock in a warehouse

01Inventory and warehouse management

Know your stock. Keep work moving.

Track what you have, guide your team through daily tasks and see where stock differs from your records. From receiving to returns, at one site or across locations.

For warehousing, retail, rental and horticulture.

Inventory meets reality

In stock. But nowhere to be found.

An order is waiting because the item is missing from its location. Beam compares your count with recorded stock and shows which items need attention.

02 One WMS for your team

Manage the work from receiving to delivery.

Give your team one place for stock, orders and work. See how to count, pick, plan and investigate discrepancies in the Beam app.

03How Beam works

Track inventory at the right level of detail.

  1. Choose quantities or individual items

Track quantities where that is enough. Track individual items when you need their location, status or history.

  2. Record what happens

Record receipts, movements or counts with your phone, barcode or QR code. RFID reads many tagged items in one session.

  3. Act on the result

Beam links each record to your inventory and work. Discrepancies stay visible so you can investigate and resolve them.

04Counting with RFID

Count stock without scanning every barcode.

An RFID handheld reads many tagged items in one session. Beam tracks unique items, so repeated reads do not count twice.

Read results depend on the tags, setup and environment. We configure and test fixed read zones for clearly defined checkpoints.

Overview by category

See what you’ve counted, category by category.

Beam groups the items read by product category. Follow count progress and drill down to the individual products.

05Checking discrepancies

Know which items need another check.

Beam shows which expected items were not seen and where they are recorded. Check those positions before adjusting your stock.

Start your check at B-11 and B-12.

06Across locations, too

Record what leaves. Check what arrives.

Check which items leave the distribution centre and which arrive at the branch. For a partial return, the distribution centre checks the returned items again.

Departure, receipt and return remain linked to the same delivery.

Checks at handover

The right items in the right shipment.

Check that the right items are ready before departure. Record what leaves so the receiving branch can check what arrives.
