Pick orders faster. Handle rentals. Zero guesswork.
One app for outbound orders and rental fulfillment with RFID, barcode or your phone's camera. Every scan is checked against the order before the picker moves on.

The challenge
The real cost of disconnected order fulfillment
How Beam solves this
One unified picking flow that validates every scan in real time. RFID scans hundreds of items at once. Barcode picks one unit per scan. Your phone's camera as a universal fallback. The same process works for outbound orders and rental fulfillment.
- Every scan validated against the order wrong item or overpick caught instantly
- Three scan methods in one flow: RFID, barcode, and camera
- Two-phase rental support: pick and send out, then receive returns automatically
- Pre-pick for large RFID orders collect first, batch-scan later
Most teams pick orders with paper lists or basic scanners that can't tell you when something is wrong. Errors surface at packing, at shipping, or at the customer. Rental companies have a second problem: tracking what went out, what came back, and what's still missing. These inefficiencies cost time, money, and customer trust.

Why Beam
One platform, not another tool
Beam connects scanning, inventory and planning in a single platform. Picking and verification use the same real-time data no duplicate processes or separate apps. Start with barcodes and scale to RFID later without changing the process.

Frequently asked questions
No. You can start with barcode scanning or even your phone camera and add RFID later without changing the process. Many teams start with barcodes for precision and add RFID for high-volume items.
Outbound orders go from open to done. Rental orders have two phases: pick and send out, then receive returns. The app detects the phase and adapts automatically during returns, scanning books items back instead of picking them.
The app catches it immediately with a visual and haptic warning. There are three error categories: wrong item, overpick, and unknown item. All errors appear in a dedicated tab and the order can't be completed until they're resolved.
Pre-picking means you first pick the order manually without RFID: you pick order lines for RFID items the same way as for non-RFID items (by quantity and location). Then, before you complete the order, you scan the entire order with RFID (only the RFID items) so the system knows which tags were picked for the RFID order lines.
Most teams go live with a pilot within 2 weeks. Full rollout typically takes 3-4 weeks including training.
Yes. Beam connects with systems like SAP, AFAS, Exact and Microsoft Dynamics via REST API. The same connection serves picking, inventory and all other Beam solutions.
