Broers Verhuur was looking for a way to make their rental process faster and more reliable, without letting go of their existing ERP system. The integration of Beam with Rentman proved to be the key: inventory and orders remain centrally registered in Rentman, while Beam acts as an additional module that ensures fast, error-free processing on the shop floor.

With an RFID scanning tunnel, outgoing orders are controlled at dispatch. For the process of returned items, Beam developed a continuously active RFID scanner that immediately recognizes incoming goods and updates them in the system, without manual intervention. This fully automated flow saves time, prevents errors, and gives Broers real-time insight into their material movements.

Each unique RFID code is tracked from start to finish; this unique UID tracking directly increases insight into your inventory. This transparency makes it easy to monitor inventory flows and quickly intervene in case of deviations or lost products. Should an item still get lost despite this traceability, the item locator module in the Beam app on the handheld RFID scanner can be used to specifically locate the product within the inventory locations.

Through the RFID controls, Beam now makes it possible to easily demonstrate which items have not been returned. Because each dispatch and return is fully automatically logged, deviations are immediately visible. This allows costs for missing items to be charged to the customer without discussion, with conclusive evidence from Beam.
