Order Picking

Pick items for an order with scan; RFID pre-picking

Order picking is collecting the items for an order. Open the order and tap Start picken (Start picking) on the order detail page to begin.

Order pick page

When you start, the order pick page opens. At the top you see the order ID and customer (edit icon), a progress bar with percentage and items left, and filter/sort options.

Tabs Te picken (To pick) and Compleet (Complete) show what is left and what is done. Each item is a card with thumbnail, location (e.g. Dylano > Back Shelf A), and picked/total (e.g. 2/3). Use the floating Scan button to scan items; Beam validates each scan and updates progress in real time.

  1. On the order pick page, tap Scan and scan items with your RFID reader or barcode scanner.
  2. When all required quantities have been picked, complete the order.
⚠️
If you scan an item that is not part of the order, the app will display a warning. This helps prevent picking errors and ensures only the correct items are included.

RFID pre-picking

With RFID pre-picking you first pick the order manually without RFID. You pick the order lines for RFID items the same way as for non-RFID items (by quantity and location). Then, before you complete the order, you scan the whole order with RFID so the system knows which tags were picked for the RFID order lines.

  1. Start picking and pick all order lines manually. For RFID items, pick by quantity and location as you would for non-RFID linesno RFID scanning during this phase.
  2. When all items are physically picked, open the RFID scan and scan the entire order. Only scan the RFID items (the ones that have EPC tags).
  3. The system matches the scanned tags to the RFID order lines and records which tags were picked for each line.
  4. Complete the order. Picking progress and tag-to-line assignment are saved.
📝
Pre-picking is useful when gathering items is faster without scanning each tag during the pick. You collect first, then do one RFID scan of the full order before completing.
